Weather prevented Bald Eagle from flying out. Jim took an airliner.

Thanks! Sounds great. I have not seen an A-1 in a HF yet. I would love to see the A-1, P-47, A-10 and F-4 together in a Heritage Flight.
Hope we get to see some of the above mentioned airplanes with the QF-4, F-16, F-22, etc. this year..........

Glad they are doing the conference at all! From the USAF's "no air shows" bulletin I had thought there might not be a heritage flight conference at all.

Official press release from Air Combat Command is here:
Heritage Flight Training and Certification Course UpdateI hope this is a typo and that the F-22 Raptor will be participating in the Heritage Flight training:
This year's historic aircraft flying in the training include the P-51 Mustang, the P-40 Warhawk, the A-36 Apache, P-47 Thunderbolt and the F-86 Sabre. ACC aircraft include the F-4 Phantom II, A-10 Thunderbolt II and the F-16 Fighting Falcon.Anthony

Anthony - seems to be some discrepancies in the ACC release, Vlado reported that an A-1 was there, and the release mentions an A-36 but not the A-1. Hopefully the F-22 will participate in HF's this year (such as they will be?). Hard to imagine that they won't IF they are involved in any demos.

Sorry to destroy the thread but the heritage flights, f22 and military participation has ceased to exist now.

Thanks for sharing all the shots! Nice looking group of airplanes there. Sorry to see only one of the 3 F-86 Sabres that were there last year. But at least I got to see the 3 Sabres fly together when the Horsemen flew them at Nellis this past November.
Nice to see 3 QF-4 Phantoms there. I hope we get to see some HF's this year, but I know the prospects may be very limited at this point.
Look forward to seeing some in flight shots if they happen........

Looks like we won't see any HF's through at least September at this point. Thunderbirds will perform in March and then will be done with air shows through at least September.
http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123338424Looks like the Collings F-4D may be the only Phantom available for air shows for a while. And we know that unfortunately due to cost, those shows will likely be few and far between.
