Somebody forgot to tell the Heritage Flight. cause they sure were flying today. Not near as good as the Cactus flyin, though.

Seems pretty clear that HF's are canned for the forseeable future, but I would love to see some. In any case, please post some photos of today's flying!

The DoD/ACC press release was pretty clear that Heritage qual would go on so that the participants could get their certifications. Then they would stand down until the end of the fiscal year ( Sept 31 ).

The press release indicated that they would continue this weekend to be prepared if funding is restored- but nothing else for hte foreseable future or until the politicians figure it out-- so basically- nothing for the foreseable future- Looks like this airshow season is going to be a whole lot different

Thanks for sharing all the shots! Nice looking group of airplanes there. Sorry to see only one of the 3 F-86 Sabres that were there last year. But at least I got to see the 3 Sabres fly together when the Horsemen flew them at Nellis this past November.

Nice to see 3 QF-4 Phantoms there. I hope we get to see some HF's this year, but I know the prospects may be very limited at this point.

Look forward to seeing some in flight shots if they happen........

Heritage flights will be alive and well in Canada this year.

The official training event is at the VWoC Formation Camp at Gatineau, May 09-12.

Thanks for the photos, Vlado! Bittersweet beginning and unfortunately the end (for now) of this year's Heritage Flight Season.

And I think the fuselage in the storage yard is an F-94A/B rather than an F-84. It actually kind of looks like an F-94 with a T-33 nose. Engine with an afterburner - I would love to see an F-94 in the air someday although I know how unlikely that ever is!

That's because your folks aren't up to their eyeballs in debt ($17 Trillion by year-end and growing) like your ne'er-do-well cousins from the south, Dave.

Vlado, great pictures. Is the last one F-94? Pima already has one, so don't reckon it is headed there.
