This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Read the thread! If it was a recent accident we all would probably hear about it from various sources already. Matt, what does it really matter? If someone we know or loved dies in an airplane accident you can't go back in time and do anything about it! I lost a very close friend at the Quad Cities Airshow last Sept. You're not alone and I don't get this over sensitive reaction. In a few posts you can pretty much figure out who, when and where. This PC is getting beyond ridiculous.

I'm not sure those are all
his photographs. They seem to be very familiar to me.

I have no idea if he took them, or if they're others, but some great pictures all the same.

There seem to be a rash of foreign "photographers" on Facebook who are taking others photos stripping the watermarks and presenting them as their own. The ones presented in this current link made the rounds at the time of the accident and from the legitimate photog.

It is not being PC, if you knew me, you would know that I am the LAST one ever to be PC, it is called being polite.
If I posted B-29 Down, what is your first thought ? Now if I changed it to B-29 Down, 1944, what would be your first thought ?
Besides, this is in the wrong forum, it should be posted in the general aviation air racing forum.

I would do the obvious and open the thread to read what would posted. It's that simple. Regardless of when or where it happened, what can any of us do about it? Polite? Huh?

Adding a date is best. It saves people from having a heartattack.
Now could we get back on topic please?

Honestly I like how they painted it. Of course, then we get the reaction thay this isn't a
real warbird and shouldn't be talked about...

This isn't the place to talk about it. This fact that this is a section of the board for actual WARBIRDS is the reason. There are other sections of this message board to talk about this very thing. That is the judgement of the man that owns and runs the board, not the rest of us.
