I saw on the news tonight this...

Temora Aviation Museum is ensuring that Australian aviation history is recognised .. which saw today a 95 yr old former RAAF Spitfire pilot get a flight in their Tigermoth as a tribute to his services of 70years ago.

I wish there was a way to be able to read his thoughts while he was up for the flight. That must have been something.

OK...what's the problem???
The Spit should be able to make it from Ardmore to Temora without any problem. Their ferry range is reported to be about 800-900 miles.

Mudge the insistent

Calm down...I'm just having you on!!!

Maybe the issue is with the 1,000 miles of Tasman Sea separating the two countries.

It might resolve the issue if the gentleman flew commercial airlines to NZ as it would be cheaper than the 'mountain coming to Mohammed'.
