All I can say is I will be there to see it fly! I used to spend hours looking at this plane as a kid.

You and me both, bdk - just wish I'd had the chance to see it fly when I was in CA.
Really wish Earl had gotten to see it fly.
I was under the impression that this plane was restored many years ago but never flown - what will they have to do now to make it flyable?

It has yet to fly. I think they will just need to do an annual. Not sure they ever even ran the engine after the plane was finished. They did have the prop off of it a few years back, so maybe they were missing some pieces.
I recall that Earl was against flying warbirds...?
