CAF's P-38?

Wed Dec 28, 2005 3:21 pm

After settling the F-82 situation with the Air Force, which P-38 if any does the CAF now have? It appears according to their website P-38 44-26981 is no longer at the So. California Wing. Does the CAF now have Scatterbrain II back in their collection? And where is the F-82 now?

Must have been asleep here....what was the final outcome of the CAF's F-82? Thanks in advance.

P-38

Hey Pat, currently the CAF has no P-38 in the inventory. My understanding is that the wreck of the Scatterbrain KId II P-38 was used as payment or trade for work completed on the P-82. The P-82 is currently in Midland, Tx, awaiting resolvement of ownership..... Alan
