A review from Amazon.ca:
5.0 out of 5 stars "Remembering The Canadian Yanks" September 2, 2012.
By Crankshaft:
"Having read articles by Tom Walsh in publications such as "Air Classics" and "Warbirds International", I was more than anxious to read his book "Remembering The Canadian Yanks". I was not disappointed! The depth and scope of his research into the subjects of his book is truly astounding! If you are a WWII military aviation buff as I am, this book will give you lots of info to digest. Well done, Mr. Walsh."

Flypast Magazine Review of "Remembering The Canadian Yanks" September, 2013:
"The first in a three-volume set, this extensively researched work comprises 35 individual chapters, each telling the story of an American airman who flew with the RCAF, many volunteering for service before the US entered World War Two. To quickly build up its air force, the RCAF began taking applications from would-be pilots all across North America, setting up recruiting offices in 17 large American cities. By the end of the war, over 8,000 US citizens had served part or all of the air force careers in the RCAF. This book includes numerous compelling accounts, many of which are appearing in print for the first time. Among those remembered is Flt Lt Don Pieri who had the unfortunate distinction of being murdered by a fanatical member of the Hitler Youth movement just days before the war ended."
Cheers,
Tom Walsh.

The text for Volume 2 of "Remembering The Canadian Yanks" is finished. I'm now looking for a compatable Publisher. No longer using Publish America. They are too set in their ways and don't understand the subject matter.
Cheers,
Tom Walsh.

"Remembering The Canadian Yanks" - is a great Christmas gift for those in your life who are interested in the little known untold history of Americans who volunteered to join the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) prior to America's entry into World War II.

Tom Walsh.

Tom Walsh has collected stories of American-born aviators who served with the Canadian forces in WWII. Though aviation buffs generally know of a few Americans flying with the RCAF, such as John Gillespie Magee, the author of "High Flight," Tom offers up 35 well-written histories of these dedicated men who wanted to fly and fight. For example, the reader will learn about Air Marshall George Mitchell Croil, born in Wisconsin and hailed as "The Father of the Royal Canadian Air Force," and incidentally about his first cousin, General Billy Mitchell. Each chapter is a new adventure and reads quickly. Let's hope this is just the first in a series.

Adam,
No, not yet, but thanks for asking.
I have some feelers out to some Publishers and Literary Agents, but the wheel turns slowly with these people.
Self-publishing will be a last resort.
Cheers,
Tom Walsh.
