I doubt China would have anything to say in this case. The AVG used the Nationalist Chinese "sunburst" insignia, currently used by Taiwan, which (Communist) China doesn't even recognize. A Chinese model company recently released a kit of the HU-16 with the option of Taiwanese markings, but in the illustration on the box the insignia are blacked out.

I like the first Mustang, I think it would look better if you add rivets to the boxed P-51 too.
The P-40's need a little more dihedral in the wings.

I should also say I like the first P-51, and the first P-40 as far as the graphics and font are concerned. Oh, and it's nice to see the P-40 shooting down an Oscar rather than the ubiquitous Zeke.

As someone who helps with the purchasing for an air museum gift shop. . . . I like the second P-51 design and the First P-40 design. No special research just the feeling I get based on what has sold in the past.
