All New Soda Can Spitfire

It has been a year since my last build. I had a customer want a spitfire built from RC. Here are some pics of the finished build. It took about 75 cans and 60+ hours.

The same guy is wanting a P38 lightening. That will be a fun one!

it is held together with carpet tape, hot glue, nuts and bolts.

Nice Royal Crown Spitfire. Glad to see you building again, I really enjoy seeing these soda can builds.

That looks brilliant, love the spinner. I can't imagine the number of band aids involved.

Question for OP.....Where does the soda go? (you use the can as you drink it?) Morbid curiosity is telling me to ask.

Does the requestor provide the cans?

I had a Coke Bi-Plane, not sure where it went, was always interested in how this is done. Awesome Plane!

I never seem to have the right empty cans when I need them. I typically buy several cases at wal mart and then dump them down the drain.
