Posting the pics is my pleasure gents so you are quite welcome. I too was glad to see the Catalina on the ramp and even more glad to see it fly since it's probably been a decade since I've seen one in the air.

John Maloney, Steve Hinton, Rod Lewis, Kevin Eldrige, and ?? flying "Tangerine" heard Kevin and Ed announce the name but I can't remember...I would venture a guess the pilot was from the museum in Oregon where the plane is based. I am sure that someone here will pipe in with the correct name.

Thanks for posting the great pics and other info fellas!

I think the video mentioned the other pilot was Clay Lacy.

The announcer was refering to Clay Lacy flying the Lear Jet after the P-38s...you can hear the jet noise in the background.

No need to apoligize! I am sure Clay has flown P-38s in the past or could these days. He usually flys the Lear or his Pilatus Porter around So Cal. I heard the announcer mention the name of the pilot along with the others but can't remember...maybe someone from the Tillamook Air Museum will chime in with more info/intel?

Eric, the pilot of 'Tangerine' appears to have been Brent Conner (who pilots several of the Tillamook warbirds).

The pilot of Erickson's P-38 Tangerine was Brent Conner as mentioned above. This picture of Brent was taken by Lonnie Allison from the Air Tanker Base in Medford,Oregon on the way back to Tillamook after the air show.
