The Eighth Air Force has a 70th birthday coming up I believe so here's an overview for those who may be interested in some good reading. Source SDASM archives "From the photo album "Strategic and Tactical Operations of the Eighth Air Force" which details the 8th Air Forces bombing campaign in Europe".
