Images of Early Bf 109s

Some time back Randy Wilson pointed out a thread on this forum where someone had posted up a number of fantastic images of the early model Bf 109s while they were still very visibly under construction and in development. I regret not having saved a link to the page, and I have spent the past three days looking back through old posts on and searching this board to find the images in question without any luck thus far.

It has probably been about 3 months since the images were being actively discussed. Does anyone remember the name of the thread? Or perhaps have a link to it?

Any assistance in this matter would be much appreciated!
