Can't share the enthusiasm--my mother has been pretty mean to me and my brothers in the past. Not my favorite person. The middle brother wants nothing to do with her and has not spoken to her in many years. The youngest has a very strained relationship with her and I visit as seldom as possible. It is what it is.

What the heck is Ms. Parrish sitting in? I'm drawing a total blank on the weird canopy arrangement.

Oh yeah, and a happy Mother's Day to all moms who may be reading this!

Well that certainly is a sad deal you got going there, and if it's any consolation, my mother passed away when I was young of a very ugly and painful illness, so as not to take away from a nice day for those who do still have and enjoy their mothers, wives etc. I'll stick to the original intent of this thread and wish a Happy Mother's day to all. They all earned it no matter what faults some think they may or may not have.

And not for me to lecture you on family matters here on WIX Tony (or warbird matters here either) but may I suggest that life is short and regrets last a lifetime. Rise above it all and be the better, stronger person. Everyone has faults and everyone can change for the better. trust me I'm here to tell you I'm a good example of that. Well at least I claim I am lol.

You only have one mother and she deserves the best son she can have no matter what her faults may be. Don't allow her weaknesses to become your weaknesses. Make amends, make the time, make it work. You won't regret it ... Sorry for a bit of lecturing, couldn't help it.

M

I'm going to guess at an AT-10. Looks like another one parked behind her.

Thank you Mark Allen M. It is obvious you are a decent and compassionate man. My situation, yes, It is a hard way to live. Thanks for the encouragement; perhaps some day things can be better. I am sorry to have taken away from other's enjoyment of the day here on WIX.

Well thank you Tony and I wish nothing but the best for you and yours and your perfectly fine to post whatever and however you feel in my book. I may be a bit nieve but I still choose to believe that ALL of us are trying to do our best in life. It's certainly difficult at times but to never give up trying to be a better person means as much as being that better person. We can never change who we are (unless we find a way to transplant souls) but we can certainly change what we are. Hang in there and like I've said many times before "believe in a way and you'll find a way"

Sorry no 'old airplane' photos in this post  ..... but for some reason I just felt more satisfaction with this post lol
