'Princess Elizabeth' was rolled out at Duxford for a media event yesterday - reassembly is now complete, she's had her first engine runs, and a "first" flight must be imminent!

Please tell me that the airplane did not have the letters " HO" by the cockpit while Patty Wagstaff was flying it!

Why didn't they restore it in the UK?
If you read another forum, they seem to think they're better at restorations than the colonists. :)
Seriously, there are some very good Mustang specialists over there, Maurice Hammond being one.

hi guys, first of i'd like to say what a great informative website your got here, wealth of information for even the non warbird owners like me..:) Anyways onto my question, is Princess Elizabeth now permanently based in the UK at Duxford or will she be returning stateside in the near future? there are 3 or 4 P51D's around the UK< Miss Velma, Ferocious Frankie and Jumping Jaques that I know for definite. and would really like to see a Razorback Mustang..:)

any info would be greatly appreciated on this
