http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49596The entity that originally broke off from the group in Geneseo that took the name "National Warplane Musuem" with them, and setup shop in Elmira are still there. They've since rehabilitated a former indoor horse arena off site from the airport. They've also changed their name from the National Warplane Museum to the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center.
http://www.wingsofeagles.com I assume there now completely a static museum. I don't think you will see any of the aircraft from Elmira return to Geneseo but that would be a nice surprise.
Since the name change I've assumed the 1941 HAG has been quietly preparing to reclaim the old name. And I'm very glad to see that it's happened.
