Dakota Air Parts are notorious for spamming. Their unsubscribe links have never worked for me and requests to be removed were ignored. They use email harvesters to automatically scan aviation related websites looking for email addresses. Their systems automatically collect the addresses and then they send out the spam.
So far even their ISP has refused to shut them down, and several other people on the web have complained about them. I wrote about Dakota Air Parts on my blog. What is funny is that if you search for them on Google my site comes up near the top.

maybe I'm one of the lucky ones or just live in the right spot (too far away to do business with DAP). I haven't received any news letters from DAP since mid september.
Shawn, who responded to my e-mail, seems to be a "better person" than KC Hemelstrand. It's a bit annoying that his surname indicates swedish ancestry ......
