Hi all: here are some interesting WWII aviation sites:

First: Peter Jackson's remake of the great 1950s movie "The Dambusters" is on hold. Now not due until until 2016, darn! (Has to do a few more "Hobbit" movies.) One of the articles shows one of the TEN Lancaster bomber models he has built for the movie:

Second: Australians restoring a B-24 Liberator have to find a new home for it:

Third: Effort to save the last complete RAF Bomber Command base (Donations wanted, good cause.) If you don't know, Bomber Command lost over 55,000 aircrew during the war.

The Bicester article is a year old. A different, but more financially sustainable, bid was selected.
