I got excited when i saw it at first thinking it was the lost c-54 but then saw its a 124.

sure hope they find that plane one day some of the satellite imagery they are using has already located a plane wreck that has been there since at least 2002-2005 as well as eliminating a lot of the search zone and locating a few suspicious objects. They just need to find some better imagery

Who is working on the C-54 case?

The C-124 find is somewhat old news. It was reported in the media (and here, IIRC) a few months back.

........ so much for global warming! these finds are popping up with frequency lately. bad for ecology, good for families who have suffered the "m.i.a. status.

I wouldn't say it was recycled. I appreciated the update and am glad to hear that recovery operations are continuing.
