Hi

Yes - the Hawk book / P6 at Oshkosh was built by Ralph Rosnik ( Herb Tischler did a lot of the work ) and they had an original wing and a lot of information collected but when Rosnik died it all went to Kermit Weeks. The aircraft is in the EAA Museum and very nice, but it has never flown.

The other fuselage / one wing was owned by Jack Taft in Jackson, MI - a real nice guy - and then went to Jerry Yagen after Jack died. Also Jack's Curtiss Conqueror engines I think.

Udet's Hawk is just wondeful ( spent a week measuring parts, taking photos, making up drawings with a friend some years back )...but no wings.

...and there are 'some' dwgs out there - different models P-6E, F11C2 etc that collectively have enough info to probably build an F11C2 ( radial engined USN version )...but direct drive Wright 1820s are mighty hard to find.

So - yes - there is enough info to build one - and if anyone has a lead on a direct drive 1820 - would be very interested to hear from you

Cheers
