Inner Tubes

Tue Jan 10, 2006 11:25 pm

Hi Guys,
I am currently restoring the undercarriage for my static CAC Boomerang project, and am trying to locate a pair of reasonably priced inner tubes for the main wheels. The wheels are Wirraway / Boomerang, which I presume are very similar to T6 wheels.
Also I would like to know how to get the tyre onto the wheel. The tyres are Dunlop 27" smooth contour streamline.
Regards,
Nick

I have a feeling that the ones on harvards, mustangs, etc.. are usually tubeless as they are no split rim but dont quote me on that.

To get the tires but on go to an auto tire place and get them to do it but keep a close eye on them.

The tires are not tubeless, and the way I put them on is to take them to a tire shop and let them do it. It is just like putting a tire onto a cars rim. It can be done by hand, but much easier if done by a tire machine.
