A friend of mine, Satch Beasley, lost his dad, MIA, in a P-2V Neptune in 1958. The Navy had recorded false coordinates, etc. thus making it impossible for him to locate his dad's crash site. (His Neptune collided with a Skyraider) My hope is that they have accurate coordinates. Second, there are not one , but two Corsairs crash sites together, so that increases the odds of them finding the debris field. Brown and his Corsair were effectively cremated on site. The Navy dropped scores of napalm bombs, so that there wouldn't be anything for the N.Koreans to recover and use for propaganda.
