Well, I would have to guess on the year but I would say that it was around 1984 or 1985. It was taken at the Madera, CA "Gathering of Warbirds." I was only 6 or 7 I believe but if memory serves me right Carl and Tony flew it up that year.

Bringing this thing way back from the dead. I was recently looking at the history of Miss HAP and saw an old Air Classics or Air Progress issue that had a story on the restoration. The issue was available on AbeBooks....however I can't remember what issue it was.

Anyone know?
