Anyone want to make a super wild guess what that one-of-a-kind airworthy beauty is going to be worth once complete? I think it's easily up there in 'Super Corsair' / Mossie territory, well beyond -109's and the like.

I could be totally way off base here but I wouldn't be surprised if the earlier model Corsairs, particularly the F4U-1/FG-1 and F4U-4, would not command higher prices than an F2G. Aren't most collectors more interested in the types that saw the majority of combat? Not to mention I imagine the parts availability might be a whole lot better on the former.

Dont forget Rob, there is another one being restored to airworthy in Minn.

Yes, but this is an XP-82 with Merlin engines.
