The C-130A(c/n-3004), may still be in the Mexican Air force...at least it was a couple of years ago. If it is, it'd be the oldest C-130 still tickin'...

Just think, people get all nutted up over a SINGLE F/A-18 or F-16 comprising the entire "military" static display at airshows these days...

Really puts things in perspective...

The C-124, 53-0010 was destroyed by a fire during refueling Oct 1965 at Wright Patterson.

IIRC, Monogram had a 1/72 Scale F-86D Model that was based on "FU-024" pictured in this collection. They now make a 1/48 scale version, but it is of a different plane. Kind of neat to see pictures of an actual plane that a model that you built was based on.
