Flug Werk FW-190 owners

Wed Jan 18, 2006 10:03 am

I've read that all of the Flug Werk 190 kits have been sold. I wonder if there's a list that someone's compiled of who owns them? I've heard that many are here in the US. Here's a few owners that I've heard of, which may be inaccurate:

Rudy Frasca, Illinois, USA
Jay Thinnes, Arizona, USA
Wings of a Dream Museum, Brazil
Guenther Leonhardt, Germany
Attie Niemann, South Africa
Luftwaffen Museum, Germany

Can anybody shed any light on these or any other owners?

Dennis

Rumors have it that one went to the Vormezeele collection in Belgium. No confirmation though.

I heard the same rumor but it was about a D fuselage and wings currently being built. Also learned he already has 2 Jumo engines with airworthy potential.
