Draken has just brought a lot of ex Polish MIG-21 to fly in the USA as defence aggressor training aircraft - wonder how this is going to pan out - http://theaviationist.com/2013/10/03/mi ... k1aLYYvmUJ

I know a guy who works for Draken - they have a lot of aircraft! A bunch, a dozen or more, A-4 skyhawks in Florida plus a couple in winter camo that have been seen at Nellis AFB plus a bunch of L-39s. They seem to know what they are doing as a company. Dale "Snort" Snodgrass USN (ret) and Jerry "Jive" Kirby USAF (ret) head up the aggressor training group as far as I understand. Although it has not been a regular for a little more than a year now the "Black Diamond Jet Team" is an appendage of Draken and they can put on a show as good as the Blues or T-birds.

The news about Draken and their MiG-21's, A-4's, MB-339's, etc. has been around for a while. While it would be nice to see a lot of MiG-21's flying around Florida, I think we will not see a lot of this as long as sequestration and the unfortunate negative effect on military spending is occuring.

I hope Draken, ATAC and companies like this will able to continue a role in supporting National Defense. I love seeing the MiG-21's, Skyhawks, Hunters, Kfirs, etc. continuing to fly over here.
