I have had this photo for a few years and stumbled across it again. Not sure of the date or location, but it came with a bunch of stuff from the 1950's. Looks like a field engine change after an emergency landing. After all, it would be just a bit hard to position an H-34 over all those rocks?!!!

Judging by the black ARMY titles on the fuselage, it might be later than the 50s.
In any event, a neat M38A-1..with rare hardtop. Must be somewhere cold.

Yeah, I wasn't sure of the year and it certainly could be in the 1960's. I just don't have a clue.
Arctic top on the jeep is cool though!
