nose glass is what i was getting at. it's what makes the E different from all the later marks.
I hadn't even thought about the ball turret. though that would be prohibitvely expensive to change.

Looks great in overall OD. Maybe for filming (if it hasn't already been done) they'll just add some nose glass framing with green tape. At least that's how I'd do it, but then again I'm cheap and lazy.
Point is, it's very cool to see a 'new' B-17 on the scene.

They did the early glass nose framing with Sentimental Journey for the film "1941". Looked like they just added silver tape. It would certainly work, but remember, it's Hollywood, they just have to tell the story so you'll watch it.
