Great pix. What's the ship in the photos - looks like a Leander class cruiser - not HMS Achilles, is it?

The ship in one photo is the Kent Class heavy cruiser HMAS Canberra sunk during the Guadalcanal campaign in 1942 in the Battle of Savo Island. There is conjecture that she was actually fired on by a US Navy destroyer in the "fog" of the nighttime engagement with superior Japanese forces.

Great photos! I especially liked the formation shot. Seems quite rare to see so many of this type in the air together as I believe they were usually operated alone.

Those Paupauan men look like they could bench press a Cadillac!
