Here is a first in a series of Videos I am slowly putting together from footage shot over the last 2 years. In all there should be 4 or 5 completed by the end of the year. I will probably rework this video as time allows. Feedback will be most welcomed...and yes I am staying away from music except for personal videos.

Wow - way cool (as always)!! The formation flying was fascinating to watch ... and is the jet really that quiet inside, didn't sound too terrible?

Jim that video was simply awsome I really enjoyed it. Quick question were you using some type of a Go Pro Camera? Also I had the privlege and honor of getting to fly Betty Jane in August 2010 I have a DVD of that flight. But I see in some of your other video's showing Betty Jane their are shots from the wing tip. Has Collings updated the camera system on Betty Jane? Also where there are shots of Witchcraft from the tail section how was that done?
Just curious Jim thanks for sharing, and once again great job.

The Cameras are Hero2's...we have several amongst the crew. The camera system we have/had in the Mustang went TU last season. We have been using gopros since. The D model will hopefully be built around a dedicated cat camera system that is on par with GoPro. I can't speak enough about the quality and versatility of these little cameras. Nothing thus far has stacked up. The shots from the 24 are all done with GoPro and sticky mounts...and we haven't lost one yet! Glad you like the video...there is a lot more to come.

Hope your sending either these (or any of the other videos you've taken with the GoPro) to GoPro. It looks like the commercials are centered around videos that these little cameras have taken out "in the field" by regular users. I think your stuff would be a no brainer for a commercial for them!

We've tried to get GoPros attention but they are more into surfing and mountain biking. As long as they keep making cameras that's fine with me. Here is another promo video with music.

Ryan Keough's first flight in a P-51...of course all of you know I owe Ryan and Scott for my job with Collings. This was a was really cool to be able to somewhat pay him back for the last 11 years.

Everything we fly is noisy...the Jet is probably the least noisy of the group but it is still just a step below the Mustang, its a different kind of noise. The gopro actually does a nice job of picking up accurate audio. When I edit the video I lower the sound level, it would be hideous if I left it all the way up.
