F-4C Phantom II Project looking for a home

Wed Jan 08, 2014 10:53 pm

Just passing this along:

F-4C Phantom II Ser No. 64-0747

A friend is interested in selling this DRMO'd airframe that he acquired from a scrap dealer. He has finished restoring a D model cockpit and no longer needs 747. He also has the radome, fwd canopy & about 80% interior panels & boxes including the complete fwd instrument panel. For further more detailed information please contact Dave Garbe dwgarbe@netzero.net

Definitely will be relaying this along tomorrow to our F-4C's crew chief. I'm sure there are some things we could use on ours.

BTW just a bit of trivia. 64-0747 is the sister ship to Mig killer 64-0748 currently on display at Langley AFB.

"64-0748 is credited with a MIG 21
kill on 20 May 1967 over North Vietnam. Flown by Maj.
Robert Janca and 1st Lt. William Roberts Jr of the 389
TFS/366 TFW. Callsign: Elgin 01"
