Did you mean Naknek? on the King Salmon River that flows into Kvichak Bay an arm of Bristol Bay? isn't/wasn't an A.F.B. just an 'air base' perhaps a remote service field but not an active A.F.B.

Probably an errant digit from some bean massager at Igloo Puk who wonders where in the heck 'Ko dye ack Island' is. King Salmon up river is big enough to handle Alaska Airlines 737's.
