Women of aviation week: women warbirders?

G'Day All,
Some may know (and some may be acting on it) but this week is Women of Aviation Week, and there's a lot going on in the US and elsewhere, including for the first time, this year, Australia: http://www.womenofaviationweek.org/

I was just wondering if we could list off a selection of the women who have had a major role (not necessarily pilots or owners, though they're welcome) in warbird activity.

For instance I'm currently looking for a fourth female P-40 pilot/owner, outside the ones I've got in the US, NZ and Aus.

And NB: This is for warbirds - NOT W.W.II female aircrew, that's a whole different (interesting) thing.

Thoughts?

Sue was the first P-40 pilot I had noted, and a true pioneer. The others were Liz Needham (NZ, current) and Judy Pay (Aus current). Any others?

Karen Hinton and the Maloney Family have done a tremendous amount of work in the running of the Planes of Fame Organization over the years. (A couple generations of ladies in the Maloney Family at work there)
I know that Sue Paul does the same up in Idaho for the Museum there as well.

Thanks Dan. Rich, that's exactly the kind of people I was keen to see caught in the list as well as those getting the limelight as pilots.

(Yes, that Chuckie)...

- From 1979 through 2010, co-owner of B-17G 44-8543, an aircraft which still bears her name.

- Co-founder of the Vintage Flying Museum, and still serving as the museum's Director.

- Co-founder of, and still a member of, the B-17 Co-op.

- Former FAA employee who worked in runway safety and runway incursion avoidance.

I had the opportunity to fly in Kermit Weeks Cripes P51 with then girlfriend Linda Myers at the stick. Great ride and pilot.

(Although I don't know how much she's involved with warbirds any longer, didn't she used to sponsor/operate a P-47 with the CAF?)

She's still flying OV-10s with one of the fire bombing outfits in California, no? I read that a few years back. I'd love to have that job.
