Tupolev Tu-2 research literature

Mon Mar 10, 2014 11:13 am

Good day WIXers. I'm researching the Soviet WWII twin-engine bomber Tupolev Tu-2 and have been looking for books on the aircraft, but so far the only ones I have found (and bought) that are close is Andrei Tupolev's Memoir and a second book titled "Tupolev: The Man and his Aircraft" which looks to cover everything right up to the Tu-142 Blackjack.

Are there any books out there, regardless of how old, that cover the Tu-2s combat operations during WWII....er..I mean...The Great Patriotic War?

Yes, I have found various websites, but I still like to use good old fashioned books as my main research tool.

Apparently you don't want the book on the left.

Thanks Mike. Those first four look promising. Thanks. As for the book on the left in the second link you are correct. I do not want it. It comes up first in a search on Barnes & Noble and Abebooks, but something about it just did not sit right with me.
