In the opening minutes of "Smokey and the Bandit II", the film prominently features three B-25s followed by two Avenger airtankers. Where are they today?

Did you notice ol Chuck Yeager was one of the party guest that gets bombed by the Avengers? He and the director (Hal Needham) were acquainted back then.

I just grabbed my Smokey and the Bandit Pursuit Pack, 3 movie set and put in S&B II, yup Dean you are right, three Mitchells and two Avengers.

One of the B-25's looked to have a short solid nose (H style), that should make it a bit easier to track down.

Maxum, good catch, I would have never noticed that was Chuck Yeager.

"When I get home, I'm gonna punch yo momma in da mouth!"

"There's no way, no way that you could come from my loins!"

"I'm gonna barbecue your a$$ in molasses!"

Loved Jackie Gleason in those movies. His best was the first movie.

B-25's used were Planes of Fames' gun nose J model, now at Palm Springs ir Museum;
In the Mood, before she was In the Mood; Jerry Janes' J model, don't remember where she ended up; and not seen but used as camera ship, was Planes of Fames VB-25J, now at Ellsworth AFB with the Museum there. The TBM's .... one is now at Palm Springs, and I don't remember about the other....

For some reason I recall "My Assam Dragon" being one of the Avengers. Ring a bell with anyone?
