Would anybody have a good picture of the nose art / aircraft that I could use in an article for a supporters club magazine please?
I have seen an article by the pilot on the web and have sent request to the web site but have not had a reply as yet, is the pilot still alive ?

hi Alan,

yes the pilot of the "Lady" is still alive (88 years old now!). He did change his name after the war from Solie Solomon into Lee Kendall.

I build his plane from own plan as a R/C scale model: scale 1:6,6. Span:122". So I did a lot of research and have some photos of the Nose- Art too. I discovered that the serial number of this plane in many books are wrong! Lee told it to me. The number on my model is also wrong, I have to change it, but first I have to find more prove for the static judges on R/C scale contests!

Have a look on my homepage: http://www.janhermkens.nl/ cheers,
Jan Hermkens, Netherlands.

hi Blackwolf,

A nice photo, it seems to me if it is cropped, do you have the full size photo too, because I have a lot documentation about the "Lady", also some Nose-Art photos, but not this one!!

Kind regards,
Jan Hermkens, Netherlands. A fanatic R/C large scale modeller.
