Declassified photos of the early Atom Bombs

I'm not sure if anyone here has seen these, I'm sure some have, but I never have seen this images before. Very interesting series on the early atom bombs and how they were loaded for their missions to Japan.

A very interesting set of photos. They have really been making the rounds on the web of late. An author friend of mine emailed then to me a few days ago and he wondered if any of the airmen preparing the bomb suffered from exposure to radiation. A good question I thought. Anyone know?

Actually, when you posted that thread I was on my way to California to do the air show and didn't get back on the internet to check WIX until this past Tuesday. I just never saw it!

In Jerry's defense, I sometimes can't figure out the titles on the WIX site either. To much creativity and not enough to the point. On other thread sites, the titles are pretty explanatory. No disrespect to you Mark, but I am glad you recognized your mistake. I love all your post, but I also ignored the top secret title.

Yah! fellas that was my error. I usually keep my thread titles very bland and to the point (usually, but not always) and the very reason I do that is so if anyone wants to use the search tool here on WIX, you can actually find what you're looking for much easier. Of course that's the theory anyway.
