Very nice. What scale? 1/48th? And what of the complete LBG in the background? 1/72?

Looks larger than that, like 1/32? Seems to be scratchbuilt as well; maybe metal? The control surfaces alone must have been a big job. My only quibble would be part of the name should be visible on the starboard side. (I assume there's no glass so the details will be more visible.)

Yes, a top notch build, I agree it is big, perhaps even larger that 1/32, and likely from scratch metal- at least parts of it, espacially the damaged fuselage and exposed ribs. Perhaps a little more sand blasting on the tan paint would be perfect- but a great build and resortation.

If only the real one could be saved and put on display, here in the US... great diorama

The diorama model of the Lady Be Good is approximately 1/18 scale with a wing span of about six feet. With the exception of the rubber main landing gear tires it is built entirely of mild steel.
The smaller model is 1/48 scale.

1/18th?! WOW! Now that is the scale for a museum aircraft diorama. Big enough to do a bit of detail work and to really grab the viewer's attention. I hope to rework some of the existing 1/18th models out there to better suit our museum's mission. Time and money. But mostly time.

Whoever the original builder, a real master of the art, no question about; I have spent hours and hours gazing at that presentation. I also spent a fair bit of time looking at the remains after Ike. Sure is great to see it restored! The addition of the smaller, complete version, is quite a nice touch.
