Chapter XI aka Lucky Lady was removed from the Franklin (FKN) Airport in the last few weeks. Here are the photos without my car, since the request was made so kindly.

I'll ask my friends at the airport, hopefully its about to go a massive inspection/renovation. Currently - if that plane could wear a hat, it would be this one:

Hoping for the best for that ole girl.

Seeing these pictures makes me sick to my stomach. Robbie would not approve that's for sure.

You are correct. It is going into the restoration of Huaira Bajo in Argentina.

I noticed it was gone last weekend when I flew over there. Going to a lot of unhappy birds in Franklin now that their home is gone.

Anyone know what happened to the PT 26 that was rotting into the ground at FKN ? I noticed it was gone as well.

Sad to see her go. But glad she'll be getting preserved. But she's going to be used for parts? I thought the B-25 down in Argentina was complete? Now they'll have two? Are they restoring it to fly?

Well darn.....Sure hate to see the camera platform for the Battle of Britain reduced to a :axe: cannibalization ship and reduced to nothingness.

More info can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Reevers-Warbirds-Roundup-News/422369271274607?fref=ts

Glad the legal issues got resolved and this didn't go the way of that unfortunate Italian AF HU-16 Albatross ...
