I'd love to see that! The biggest thing I've ever seen of floats is a Beech 18.

On the Gooney or the Beech-18's? I can't speak for the DC-3, and on the Beech 18's in my photo, I'm not sure if they're amphibs or on beaching gear, I wasn't able to get very close to them.

The Folsom's Gooney-on-Floats was based at Greenville, Me. Loved to see it at the Seaplane Fly-in. I hear the floats are gone now. Just a note, I saw a Bambo Bomber on floats up there several(10) years ago.

Unfortunately,
there was a T-50 on floats that crashed in Sharon, MA about two months ago, I heard that the new owner was struggling to get off the water the day before the accident, and tried again the next day only to lose power while enroute to his shop in southern New Hampshire, ending up just a little short of a pond and hitting some trees
