Ouch...
Quote:
A misprint in the summer edition of Tennessee Connection means two lucky patrons of the Veterans' Museum's annual Wings Over Halls Air Show can take advantage of a really good deal. This P-51 Gunfighter will be flown by Jeff Linebaugh air show scheduled for Arnold's Field in Halls Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 16 and 17. "(The misprint) stated that 'rides on the P-51 will sell for $17.95,'" said Veterans Museum Director Pat Higdon. "Of course, it should have been $1,795. This misprint will work to the advantage of two lucky readers." Higdon encourages patrons bring the article to the museum and leave their name and telephone number with the office staff. "(Air Show officials) will have a drawing on Saturday and Sunday for two rides on the P-51. Each will cost the patron $17.95," said Higdon. "This is the biggest bargain the show has ever offered, so everyone should rush to get their article in to the museum."

Are you worried about getting your $17 dollars worth? :D

No idea on the duration, but even start up and taxi might be worth that!

Agree, this is the right way to handle this. But I expect there's a typesetter who won't be getting a Mustang ride anytime soon ...

17 dollars is cool for a 30 minute ride, Though I love the P-51 and other warbirds, I would just be hard pressed to part with 1,700 dollars for a 30 minute ride. but that is just me, I'm glad others and toss that kind of money into a gas tank. :drink3:

At less than $18, about 17 seconds of taxiing :)
