Interesting because AD-5Ws never carried these, as they were never intended to deliver ordnance.
Also, I noticed in the photo of 9567 posted on the previous page that it has an AT-141 antenna under the right wing. The normal location for the AT-141 on an AD-5 is...nowhere. The UHF radio was serviced by an antenna built right into the tip of the fin on the -5. But I've cataloged something like five or six different locations for AT-141s on different individual -5 variants, so apparently they were occasionally installed, for whatever reason. Would love to know more about this.
You're correct for an EA-1E, and although '152 flew (and is now marked as an EA-1E), she no longer retains many/any of those features and now flies with the 12 outer stations, 20mm cannon, dual controls, empty cabin, etc; that's what I meant.
