I found this while surfing E-bay.

Anyone have an idea what it is from? I was guessing a post-war bomber, but I assume it could be anything.

My wild guess is it's a Bristol Bolingbroke assembly that found its way south of the border. My guess is based on the size of the wheel assembly versus the tire (tyre?) and the fact that it's currently not far from Canada, in Pennsylvania.

The information in the photographs might help with a more educated guess, particularly with the tire size. If someone from the CWH sees this they would know right away if it's a Bolingbroke part or not.

Clean it up, lie it on it's side, put a round piece of safety glass on it and... presto... instant cool coffee table!

The tyre/tire in question appears to be of 14.00-14 size.

The Dunlop Aviation Equipment Manual of the early 1950s lists a Mosquito as having a main tyre/tire of 15.00-16. There are no 14.00-14 tyres/tires mentioned in the manual.
