Incoming Alum sheets had primer applied by roller that the sheet ran across. Fab shop had a tank and conveyor along a wall that parts were hung on and dipped in the zinc chromate.
There is a Making of the wartime Piper Cub showing all phases of construction. Interesting that fuselages were chromated by running a bubbling hose of zinc chromate along the tubes.
Paints were referred to by AN-TT-P-XXXX as a callout. Where does ANA come from?
