On July 26th FHC will be having their first annual Skyfair They will be Flying their B-25, P-40, BF 109, IL-2, Zero, and Spitfire. Planes of Fame is flying up their Corsair and P-38, HFF is bringing their Tigercat and Bearcat over and Greg Anders is flying down in his AD-4. It starts at 10:00 AM with a tank and Flac gun demo on the tank arena and the flying starts at 1:00 PM weather permitting. They are projecting attendance of 6,000 and are still looking for more volunteers to help out that day. Advance tickets are available if you don't want to stand in line and there will be food vendors.

The SkyFair had a great turnout and next weekend on the opposite side of Paine Field, Historic Flight Foundation is having Vintage Flight weekend and John Sessions is expecting around 65 a/c. It starts Friday with a/c flying in and in the evening there's a Dinner Dance with a 40's Band and on Saturday will be flying demonstrations and rides in the DC-3 and open cockpit planes, it wraps up Sunday afternoon.

A really incredible display today, as the Flying Heritage Collection's B-25, Il-2, Spitfire, P-51, and Bf-109 all were flown in formation together.

Sorry Andy, nothing to share myself, but I tracked down some videos on Youtube. I'm sure there will be more soon.

And here are some nice photos of the stacked formation:

Amazing lineup and very unique to see in the air together. FHC what a collection indeed. We enthusiasts have been quite fortunate that P Allen has chosen warbird collecting as one of his interests. We can only hope he chooses to stick with it and expand his collection, as by all accounts that indeed seems the case, albeit at a painfully (to us) slow pace. Much appreciated all the same. Looking forward to a few extremely rare types showing up down the road. More power to him and very best of luck.

Sorry Alang, but VAW is NOT next weekend. It is Labor day weekend. I'll be there with the IAR. :)

Seafair airshow. Now THAT is next weekend.

As I get older I mix things up, your absolutely right, at Seafair HFC is flying the B-25, BF-109, IL-2, Zero (if it gets back up), and spitfire. FHC is preparing to hang the real White Knight and replica Spaceship 1 from the ceiling in the new hangar, not warbirds but the Knight is a piece of history.

Here's my YouTube playlist showing all of the flying for the event. Sorry for the few times I messed up the shots... I shoot from a painters ladder to see over people's heads to get a clear shot. If a plane makes its pass behind me, I have to step down so as to not kill myself. LOL.

Jason, you shoot some beautiful stuff, and the music selection is totally boffo! And, I might add, you are a gent for moving your step ladder and tripod, etc. out of the way when you saw me and others shooting our own photos of the White Knight...the mark of a fine photographer sharing the view with others.

WELL DONE! Keep up the good work and thanks for putting up a LOT of righteous videos and photos!
