I will never understand why people get off on tearing stuff up like that p-40 or vandals buring planes ect what is wrong with people?

The gang on the FlyPast message board are stating that the P-40 is now rumored to be in the US. Anyone here know more?

Hopefully there's some truth in that story, and hopefully somehow she'll end up in the RAF Museum in Hendon. To see that particular airplane restored would be a shame, though after the damage that the barbarians over there caused it it's no longer the undisturbed time capsule that it was.
Has anyone searched for the pilot? He couldn't have made it far, not in that heat.

I seem to recall reading that human remains had been found not far away, but the story goes that DNA was not able to be extracted. Also that a lot of people called BS on the no viable DNA.
