Basically a mp3 is a digital audio file, a pretty standardized one that almost anybody can listen too on thier computer or portable mp3 player
A podcast is essentially an audio program created in the mp3 format. These programs can run the gamut from music to talk shows and anywhere in between. You download the program and play it on your computer or mp3 player (or even make an audio CD and listen to it that way)
My thoughts for the future include creating an occasional podcast show featuring interviews, stories and bull sessions that occur at aviation events and gatherings. It's just a concept at them moment and I wanted to gauge wiether it would be worthwhile given the computer skills of our community. Apparently most of you could deal with this and those that can't will be dragged kicking and screaming along with us.

Think of it as a custom radio talk show revolving around our community and Warbirds in general.
I am thinking of doing phone interviews with some of our members. What information would you like to know about your fellow WIXers, What questions would you ask? I will be talking to some of our more active members soon and requesting interviews once I get the technical things sorted.
