PT-17 Stearman crash in Guatemala

Boeing PT-17 Stearman TG-JEN, crashed into the sea, during a demonstration at the Pacific coast's Puerto de San Jose, in Guatemala. The pilot, Martin Keller, survived with minor injuries.

Looking at that video, I'd have to say that this was a true shame.
This happened because of bad decision making.
I try not to be someone who flings muck on the internet. This crash should not have happened.
Having said that, I am always relieved when no one is severely hurt.

That is some of the sloppiest aerobatics I've seen on youtube in a long time. He didn't seem to have enough airspeed or even awareness of how low he was at the start of each maneuver. Glad to know he's okay, 4 more and he'll be an ace!

damnit!....I was wondering where my gardener had taken my stearman!....I heard him fire it up and then off he went-been looking for it for a year now!........great, just great!.....

I would like to see how bad the damage was, he landed right in the surf, I'm curious if it was recovered afterwards.

Other sources say the plane was a write-off. Just FYI. Also, a little Goggle searching will lead to more videos of his aerobatics.
