A-26's of the 416th BG during WW2 ...

A very nice collection of 416th BG A-26 photos.
During World War II, the 416th Bombardment Group (L) was composed of 416th Headquarters and four Bombardment Squadrons (L), the 668th (5H), 669th (2A), 670th (F6) and 671st (5C); and was under the operational control of the IX Bomber Command, 97th Combat Bombardment Wing of the 9th Air Force.

I'm not biased in anyway when I say this, but the A-26 is one of the best aircraft ever made.

These pics give an excellent perspective of the schemes and gun system types.

Who would want a B-25 when you could have one of these baby's
