The graduated angle markings near the leading edge of "My Ned's" wings look similar to those on "Lil Margaret". Any chance it's an F-6D?

Thanks for sharing the photos, Jack! Earlier this year I worked on trying to recreate P-51C "Princess" for a flight-sim based project - I believe I was only able to find a couple of photos at that time - the solo shot you provide here of the aircraft is great in illustrating the various details of the markings.

Could very well be an 528th FS F-6D, Jack. I just picked this one up today off of ebay for the P-47 that's #2 in the lineup there. The Tac Recon Mustang from the 528th FS was just a bonus. I'm trying to figure out how many F-6s the 311th FG had.
